I just love “barefoot season” – goodbye shoes and hello cool, lush grass under my feet and between my toes! I just love the wonderful warm, sunny days that summer brings to our little corner of the world here in Northeast Ohio. I hope you’re enjoying the summer and wonderful times with family and friends wherever you are.

While summer most often brings to mind “vacation,” this is one of the busiest times of the year here at Devine Designs. You can visit the YMCA Dream House for your chance to WIN this year’s beautiful home. While you’re there, I hope you’ll get lots of decorating ideas! At this year’s house I designed a bedroom for a college-age guy. Cleveland Magazine will feature a special section on the Dream House in their July issue that you won’t want to miss.

I am also working with many of you to create the homes you want within the houses you have. I’m helping many of you sell your homes with my staging services. To date, Devine Designs has staged more $6 million in homes in Northeast Ohio!! Like so many of you, I have been working room by room on my home, a charming “Cottage in the Woods” transforming it into our own little dream house. While it has “good bones” every room needs some updating – like I say to my husband, “When you have a house, you have a project.” This past winter we remodeled the kitchen!
