Volunteers Know What Dreams Are Made Of

"In the Dream House, even the laundry room is a work of art. Designer Diana Hudson Kresnye incorporated a sculpture of a safety pin, an old-fashioned dress form, and even words pressed on the wall as art.

"'One of the things we also tried to do is make the laundry room a functional space,' Kresnye said.

"The laundry room is designed to make the chore as comfortable as possible with cabinets and bins laid out sensibly."
