Redesign Consultations

Our redesign begins with an in-home consultation to the actual space we'll be transforming. We'll discuss what's working or not working for you in the space, how the room is used, who uses it, and what your ultimate goal is for the area. In short, we do a lot of listening so that we may honor your wishes.
Understanding the space and your goals for its use will allow Devine Designs to design the perfect room for you! We will give you a "flat fee" rate when you book your Room Redesign. We prefer this pricing structure as opposed to an hourly fee, as it enables us to concentrate on implementing the very best plan for your room(s) instead of "racing against the clock" during the transformation.
During this visit, we will also determine whether an assistant will be required for the project. For rooms with oversized furniture and/or a large amount of accessories, an assistant will be needed. A fee of $20.00 hour will be added to the cost of your room redesign. We will secure a 50% deposit at the time of this consultation which will be applied to your total Redesign cost.

Redesign Day!
|
This is a great time for you to schedule a day of work, errands, shopping, or visiting with friends so you can be surprised for the "big reveal!"
While you are out, we will empty the room to gain a fresh perspective on the space, and we'll study the architecture and lines of the room. Next, we "shop" your home for additional furniture, artwork and accessories that may enhance the look of the area. We will then rearrange the contents of the room, using professional design standards and principles. The amazing result will be a warm, inviting, and functional space that reflects your personality & style! We will call you about 30 minutes before we finish. As adults, we don't get many chances to be surprised - your room reveal is like the magic of Christmas morning! We love seeing the looks on our clients faces when they see their new "old" room(s)!
After you recover from the amazing transformation, we will present you with a recommendation list of items that you may want to consider purchasing to take your new Redesigned room to the next level. We may suggest paint colors for the walls, plants, artwork, area rugs, or accessories ... and we will also give you suggestions as to where you can find these items at reasonable prices.
One Day Makeovers start at just $199.00*/room
*An additional fee of $20/hr will be charged for rooms requiring an assistant due to large furniture pieces or a large amount of accessories.
